We didn't choose Buddy...One son chose him for himself, then his life changed, so he decided after our Golden Retriever died, we needed a new friend...So it was a win-win for him, and eventually for us....Buddy was very smart too....And it was very hard to get mad at him, even if he tore up things, mostly accidently. But when we had to tie him up, it became really difficult for both Buddy and for us....Big dogs like he was really shouldn't be in the city...they need places to run... We are missing him, for sure. Had to laugh about yours minding, unless you were wrong....I know what that is like....! <gg>
