It seems to me that "homicide bombers" puts the emphasis on the victims of the attack, and their fate. "Suicide bombers" puts the emphasis on the perpetrator.

I had not seen the Fox report you referred to, but I think I actually prefer the "homicide" terminology. I shudder to think that anyone might therefore label me as being "PC".
