End Timer Richard Land:

"Reagan's administration would take our calls, in Bush 1 they would sometimes take our calls. In this, uh, Bush administration uh, his advisors call us, and say, you know, what's your take on this issue, what is your perspective on this issue. And that's as they should do, I mean, you know, you should learn to pay attention to your base."

"AQ existed before Bush decided to run for President. And it operated in countries all over the world, including Iraq. Abu Musab al Zarqawi (later head of AQ in Iraq arranged the assassination of Lawrence Foley in Amman from Iraq, even wiring money to the assassins from Baghdad. That happened in 2002."

And if Zarqawi was an AQ in Iraq before the war, all the evidence showed there was no arrangement with Saddam. As I said, Bush now agrees that AQ was not in Iraq before the war and Iraq had nothing to do with 911.
