I completely agree, chinton. That was a disgusting cartoon.
One of my objections to the use of terms like 'chimp' is the lack of respect it shows for the office. In fact, one of the reasons I was furious with Clinton, is not that he had an affair (who cares?) but that he showed such a lack of respect for his position and the Oval Office itself.

I am highly critical of Bush's actions, but he is still the President and when we allow the position to be demeaned, it has a halo effect beyond the man himself.

There may also be an element of "I can call my family members names, but the guy down the street better not".

As a Muslim, SARMAN was probably incensed about the Danish cartoons re: Mohammed but feels no compunction about being offensive himself.
