I hear ya but WGI/WGDFF is a much more mature less risky play. IMO that is.

gqc.v - the early-june hit by Goldquest was at Las Animas, that was sort of a left-over property, Gold Fields had chosen others for their JV, and the chances of happy news coming out of developments on them is quite good imho, so LA could end up being just gravy on the main course ... the JV will be slower however, majors just don't work to the promo-schedule that most juniors are forced to follow, i've decided for myself that it's a good idea to exercise a little patience, i'm in from the mid-.30s and yet now have more shares than ever, added over 1.00, and won't let any go easily ... seems like it should be coming time for news, and the CMF has just turned up again a bit - stockcharts.com

Here's the GF JV release -

'VANCOUVER, BC, March 23, 2007 – GoldQuest Mining Corp. (“GoldQuest” or the “Company”) is
pleased to announce the formal signing of the Mining Venture Agreement with Gold Fields Limited with
respect to selected projects in the Dominican Republic. The terms of the agreement were initially given
in the press release of February 2, 2006. Work by the GoldQuest-Gold Fields Joint Venture has
discovered a series of new gold, and copper / gold occurrences in the western Dominican Republic
including Las Tres Palmas, Los Comios, Loma Viejo Pedro and Jengibre.
