Indeed. I never denied that. I am equating them on one feature and one feature only--that they both fall under the rubric of martyrdom--sacrifice for their religion. In all other meaningful ways they are not equivalent, in some polar opposites.

I can never know what you are thinking.

It helps if you read what I post. You can take anything I say in seriousness as what I think. What you infer from is on you.

What you call dancing is me working to segregate what I said from what folks read into it.

What I think and said in this case is simply that the word, "martyr" is appropriately applied to non-violent Christian martyrs and violent Islamist martyrs. (And non-violent Muslim martyrs and violent Christian martyrs, should any turn up.)

Everything else attributed to me is figment.
