Odd thing about color tied into other genes. Orange and white cat male, calico cat female. Carries into horses too. Most all white foals that aren't from a line of all white horses will not have a lower colon and will die. Matter of fact the Lippenzanner line are born grey and turn white. My wife's mare through a filly that was all white but had a black ring around one eye and was ok. They call that a medicine hat foal.
