Agree. I also think that they ARE insane. Whether they are individually psychotic - or brainwashed, or are they nuts because they are members of nutty (sub)culture - that's a separate issue. Social groups (and from time to time even entire nations) are not immune to insanity. The fact that some scum sucking son of a diseased pig has the support of his peers when he blows himself up doesn't make it all sane.
