"I expected better of you.."

You may expect better of me, but I am nothing if not a realist. Any interest group will hold its nose and support the candidate that is going to progress its agenda. Maybe Hillary is holding a grudge against old Bill (none of us will ever know) and she has already cut her private deal with the NOW crowd...and they are going to get power big time in her administration. Now, are you really so naive to think that they won't support such an enticement? Regardless of whatever Bill did or didn't do, or said he did.

You really think "principle" matters in power politics? If so, how could evangelicals support Dick Cheney with his openly gay daughter that he won't disown? There are a thousand such examples of power over principle....and the road to power wins EVERY time.

Welcome to America's political system.
