The bull is in it's death throes, which isn't surprising considering that it was lobotomized years ago. The homebuilder heart is barely beating as the subprime blood pours out all over the place. Restaurants, retail, consumer spending, the organs are failing one by one. The bull is already dead but doesn't know it yet. Weaker and weaker charges as it loses strength but it continues to try and convince itself that it will somehow survive. It's kind of sad really.

Now accepting orders for bull burgers and bull steaks! For those who aren't picky and don't want to wait there is plenty of bull$#it in the Wall Street arena.

<So what kind of news is it going to take to hoist the DOW decisively over 14k once and for all?>

The next absurd rumor that is trotted out to see if it causes a 200 point spike.

Fridays drop is all but forgotten. I'm surpised CAT isn't already back up to 86.
