No matter how long Europe exists, with their current ideology, they'll always be very limited. <Why is it taking Europe so long to come together. They are only 400 million people with less diversity than India's 1 billion people.> Without the right ideas, progress will be zero. The USA took centuries to banish slavery because lots of people liked it. They still do like forceful taking of property against the owner's will. Check out the IRD and conscription for Vietnam. <Why did it take USA 400 years to banish the last vestiges of slavery? > Around the world, people have a strong propensity to help themselves to other people's property.
