Seriously, MM, da problem now is carry trade. The Fed nourished the monster, now it grew so huge ($400 Trillion notional) it will eat the Fed and won't even notice. Resume: if the Fed does not raise while other CBs do, the dollar will continue falling, and no amount of money from any CB can stop it. Raising and printing was smart of the Fed, but further raising at non-Zimbabwian level of printing may be troublesome for the housing, the stock market, and the economy. The monster will make the Fed raise, though, or else. -g-
