"Turkey and the whole problem in northern "Kurdistan" will end any hopes of a unified Iraq IMHO....the North will be looking to its West and already couldn't care less about what is going on in Baghdad..so long as they have some oil and some weapons..."

Oh, I'm pretty sure that's in the cars, regardless.

(The big move toward a free-standing Kurdistan will come this fall with the referendum in Kirkirk.)
