That answer from him was a defining moment for the debate. It brought out the contrast between his thinking and that of Hillary. Hillary's and others showed the inside the beltway thinking whereas he showed how he could be different.

Similarly. on meeting the world leaders, both HIllary and Edwards projected a very convoluted thought process about meeting world leaders; answers which espoused arrogance, an air of US superiority etc. etc., the reason why people heed the call of Osama, join Al Qaeda and want to hit back at the US. But when a poor Palestinian youth listens to Obama's answer, see the sincerity of his dealings, then he would turnout to be a US supporter.

I want to extend what Hillary said during the debate: I think a wrong person was elected in 2000 by electing a namesake; let us not make the same mistake again in 2008.

And lastly, Bill Richardson went up in my opinion. Notice the similarity between Obama's replies and that of Richardson, who has extensive diplomatic experience.

I have no problem in electing another Bill in Bill Richardson but I have a problem electing another Clinton in Hillary Clinton.

Here is the NYT commenting. I sure do hope that the American voter stops being dumb and have the ability to judge for themselves the sharp difference between Obama and Hillary. As of now, the opinion of the American voter worldwide is very low due to the fact that Bush got voted back into office in 2004. This time around, the world is expecting the American voter to discharge their responsibilities towards the world citizenry by making an informed judgement and not falling for "the same old, same old stuff" that Hillary and Edwards provided in their responses. Richardson also came across to me as very refreshing and as one who would approach issues very differently.
