He has a link to some graphs in the middle of the article which relate to real estate specifically. As a real estate broker for 23 years, i can say I've never, ever seen anything like what I'm seeing in the real estate universe today. The ultimate in falling knives. It actually is different this time.

Not to say that Wall St. can't rally the XHB. Look at a year chart. This was all known a year ago and XHB went from 29 to 40 on hope and manipulation.

Looking at the balance sheets of the home builders that reported earnings yesterday and the day before, it seems that the real attractive prices are about 50% down from here. Of course, there is no guarantee we will ever reach these prices. If we do, the market will be in so much pain that no one will buy. ;) But I promise to back up my truck then :P
