Jesus was very counter-cultural. He took on the "religious right" of its time, the Pharisees. Why are you nuancing jesus now? You of all people should be a liberal like him, no questions asked. Liberalism today, however, is very conformist. You either believe the way the liberal establishment wants you to believe, or you are treated as someone who doesn't have the heart and the intellect to be worth the time. Unlike conservatism of course, which is ever so tolerant. You either toe the line or you are a communist and a traitor. LOL... Al
