The Kurds are fighting for autonomous self rule. The difference between them and the Arab Sunnis, the Shi'ites and others is Kurds are united in this effort. You seem to recognize their desire for liberty and democracy as a good thing; yet you bolster the extremists who represent a small radical percentage of Iraqis who are trying to destroy efforts by the majority of Iraqis to build a national democracy. If not for insurgents and terrorist Al-Qaeda the Nation of Iraq would have made a relatively smooth transition to liberal democracy. Tell me again why you oppose that idea of a liberal democracy for Iraqis, the vast majority of whom voted for it with pride?
