KNOWING that she was successful in her attempts to get splashed all over the media (receiving tons* of free press coverage), does not require that I actually watched any of her multitude of interviews or press conferences of protest marches or what-have-you. Nor does it require any PERSONAL knowledge of the woman. (Just like KNOWING that there has been an ACTIVE space program by NASA, numerous space launches, trips to the Moon, the I.S.S., etc., does not actually REQUIRE that I personally know any astronauts, nor that I watch every mission's press coverage... though I can assure you that I have undoubtedly watched far more media coverage of space launches then I have of Sheehan's campaign.) Never-the-less, in both cases, it ain't been hard to be AWARE of the MAGNITUDE of press attention. (Indeed... I suspect one would have to be living under a rock to have missed either. :-)
