It seems that few are impressed by the Iraqi government. It seems that the Iraqi government has been acting on behalf of one side of a civil war. It seems they are associated with death squads. It seems that very little is getting done by the Iraqi government. It seems that even we, the USA, cannot secure the Green Zone much less the rest of the country. A civil war rages and we speak of political benchmarks -- perhaps it is just wishful thinking.
