If the Allied countries had know the extent Israel would inflame the entire Arab world we wouldn’t have created it The allied powers did know....it was the US under Truman that insisted Israel be a state in the ME and pushed it through the UN. You wonder why Muslims hate the US. You need to look closely at ME history since WW II. The US has done many stupid things that have only enflamed the ME population. Just last year Bush gave Israel permission to bomb the hell out of Lebanon. How many Lebanese do you think love us after that travesty?
