Really the only way it may be able to be resolved it to let them catch up on or at a certain time.

Say we did this.

1. We did this one sort of.

Admit to naked shorting.

2. We have had banking laws in effect for quite a few years now. Since 911. So we know our lender/client/agent/associate/whatever. In order to make transactions these people are supposed to have the assets to back up what it is they are doing or they...the bank/brokerage/lender/whatever are held accountable. Then comes in or supposed to be they are to prove they can back up what they proclaim they can do in order to be able to do the issue. Okay so we are supposed to know who we are dealing with.

So this shouldl/would/could resolve the issue of who. If we know who we know who to be held accountable.

3. Then we allow those trading the shares that are "naked shorted" to trade the shares on the open market. They have to buy back in the stock. But there will be one exception to this rule. Only sells are allowed. Real shares of stock only. They have to offer the stock on the open market and buy in from people who have stock until the shares are covered.

If the market is only shorted 10% compared to daily volume then it should only take so many days to cover. The market will decide the price of the stock fairly just as it was supposed to do all along. While there may be a a certain number of shares that will run up automatically due to the nature of people when they think they are buying in at the bottom and hoping for the best and believe they are taking advantage of the "naked short cover". So things might go a little high at first. But at some point the shares should trade at value. No more companies saying the reason their company isn't doing good is because of naked shorting.

It will stop big businesses from bankrupting little companies out of business and these great ideas will no longer be flushed down the toilet, never to be enjoyed, by giants who can do it. How many times have they most likely cured cancer? Or who knows what we could have? I know there's a lot of dead beats too but let the market decide. If we take the fraud out we win the day. We can go back to the market...the people, the value of the company through the course of it's lifetime's ability to make money and grow and show an earnings and hopefully someday grow enough to offer a dividend that people can use to supplement their retirement on. That's the way things should be.

If it's really the 10% a day they say it will take some work but it can happen. If it takes days let the markets only let people sell on the weekends and those short will buy back their shares from those willing to sell or buy during the week. Real shares. Then on the weekends let the market trade but your only allowed to sell your shares for a certain price. Your not allowed to buy any shares. Only shares used to cover "naked shorted stock" is allowed to be sold. So this means you'd have to offer a price someone willing to share their shares for. People have their sell price and we all have different ideas at what price we'll sell. While some will be happy to get $2 a share there are those looking for $5 and $100 or splitting. Or whatever. But we have all kinds and that's what makes the market trade.

The best part is I suspect much of the funds made and used for these transactions were not in the country but put on off shore accounts so this will bring back some of the money we lost won't it and sort of jump start us up? Would be nice to see the middle class who hold a lot of real shares get a bump up. They spend money. The wealthy don't spend money like the middle class people would.

This is all just my opinion. It would be a shame to stop the market. We're just basically investing in what we think will make it in the future. The next new razor or whatever. And we are investing in that company to make and do that idea. By buying a share of the company your buying a piece of it. When it makes money, you should make money. That's all it is supposed to be about.
