That article still gets it wrong w.r.t. MCM vs. monolithic die for initial fusion parts, so one has to question the other details. Maybe we'll learn more today.

You don't just decide to put in HK/MG and rev the process in a year. These are the most fundamental change to transistor design in 40 years. If they haven't already been putting in years worth of research, then they are already years behind everyone else in getting this technology to market.

You think they hadn't HK/MG in my mind and no works has been done in this way?
