Bush has made Iraq into the centerpiece of his presidency.

Its too bad he chose an issue that provides little benefit to Americans but costs them a great deal in terms of lives and money.

Presently things are not going as well as he would like, but he has a little more time.

Things have not gone well since the early months of the war. Hoping things will improve will not make it happen.
