Looks like we may have made a SHORT-TERM bottom today.

If we don't have a decent bounce the next few days it may be time to think about 1987 again.

But even if we bounce some as I expect stocks still will be much lower by fall IMHO. Senior averages off at least 10%.

I believe the deficit numbers publicized by the administration already do not include Iraq war costs. The real deficit in the last 12 months through end of June is $537 billion.
