Yeah, and did you see where some petroleum institute now says that there is no way they can meet future demand growth? And here we are moping along doing almost nothing... even though virtually every damn thing that moves in this country is burning oil.

It's absurd, we are heading for disaster and whistling a happy tune. Better that you are young, not me. Hate to see what things will look like in 30-40 years if we continue on this track much longer.


I see people....at least here in the PNW.....taking matters into their own hands and doing what they can to change their current way of living. I am hoping that....combined with the internet and its watchdog benefits......will turn the tide.

However, I am not terribly optimistic.........America's WA leadership is fairly corrupted. Like CJ says, it may well be too late.
