I think you are premature. I think the averages could be much higher before what you fear comes about. Folks who sold now are way premature imho. I have been right so far but nervouslly tap the keys in reply to you. The words of Eric Burden come to mind "We gotta get out of this place if its the last thing we ever do..." Thats a given--its the when we argue about.

Since we don't always agree, I wanted you to know I thought you were spot on with this:

In deference to Lindy's sensibilities, I didn't want to say anything on his thread, but I found the whole notion of labeling the blond girl "goofus" very upsetting- even if the author was presuming to read an "inference" of goofusness in to the use picture. I see a confident attractive blond woman, and anyone reading in to the picture that she has loose morals or is somehow a "goofus" because she is blond or wearing a tank, is telling us all a lot more about their view of women, than anything they could tell us about the relative nature of the women in the picture or the view of the folks using this picture as an illustration. I suspect the people who chose this picture would be shocked to think that it illustrated the blond woman as a sluttish goofus. That thought it so bizarre it never would have occurred to me.

And FWIW, the Muslim woman looks very tentative- she not only has her hand bent, instead of confidently raised straight, but she is also "blocking" her body with her other arm, a protective gesture.

Good post on your part.

And here's the rather odd post that started a rather odd discussion- see the picture, and see what you think:
