I may even have to consider moving into one of their places eventually. Not sure I will like that.

I would consider WCI as a good example of a failed attempt to acquire a builder. Since they rejected Icahn(what were they think!!!!) the stock has cratered and not one other suitor has stepped forward.

Heard a report on radio about a couple small local (in MD) builders going bankrupt. Said that others were exiting business and/or trying to get into commercial construction.
