"Mind you, it has been very sad to watch the number of songbirds decline year after year." Yes, I miss a lot of the wild life that used to be around. I was lucky enough to grow up in a home with a large (4 lots) yard. Honeybees, filled the yards and songbirds everywhere. I had one of those tomcats who always tracked the birds and I saw him fall out of more than one tree. Everybody had a horny toad or a turtle.

It is sad that today's younger generation will miss most of that but we grandads can at least have great stories to tell. (smile)

I don't think I want to be around when the songbirds disappear.
