Re the drugs....we did get a drug supplement as well...it's Medicare D, administered by a separate company ... But I don't know if any of the insurances cover the really expensive drugs....One acquaintance I deal with has MS, and unfortunately has to pay over $15,000 per year as partial pay for the drugs, then pays $10,000 till she get to the magic number of $25,000 so major medical will pick it up....

For the regular drugs WalMart has a large list of $4 medications....
