I'm not counting on it but maybe it'll still be possible for AMD to salvage part of the defective QC's and sell them next year as DC's.

I think initially, all of the DC + L3 will be from salvaged QCs.

AMD can do both of these things to increase yields above 32%. But you also need to figure in bin splits on top of functional yields. The number of high speed parts is not going to be large.
