It's not possible. Not only is the die not symmetric (meaning that half the die ends up with a DDR2 interface and no HTT, while the other half ends up with HTT and no DDR2 interface :)), but you would have to make some pretty heavy design modifications to allow a die to be cut in half. For example, cache coherency between cores doesn't happen on its own. Side A would need to have logic on how to communicate and receive data from Side B.
