You think it was OBL's plan to follow up the 9/11 spectacular with nothing except minor bombings in Madrid and London and Bali for five years?

As long as we're speculating--it was more likely that his plan included a US invasion of Iraq.

Dream on? Every "cause" needs a magnet to draw in recruits. Iraq is that magnet -- one enormous giant magnet to recruit idealistic young men and women ready to die for a "cause", and what a cause we gave them. What we are supposed to be doing is drying up their ability to recruit -- that is what we need to do if we are going to make any progress against terrorism. Suicide bombers only strike once. They need a constant flow of new recruits. Instead of drying up their ability to recruit, we delivered them the most awesome recruiting tool they could ever have asked for -- and you think I am the one here who is dreaming?
