Sorry, been mostly lurking because been busy at work.

I had an Intel Motherboard, Intel CPU 6-7 years ago. I had it for about 9 months, it was flaky, and crashed often. It was a PIII 600.

I replaced it with an MSI motherboard and a K7 600 (saved memory, video, audio, and networking card and case, the machine hummed along quite nicely.

I may be silly, but once bitten, twice shy.
