I give up, Nadine. Which is cause, and which is effect? Saddam causing 9/11 was always the holy grail of intelligence for Cheney and Co. But 9/11 was seized on immediately as a pretext for the war the guys wanted all along. Back in the reality based community, I would guess the majority view would be that 9/11 and W's war in Iraq are pretty much independent events, no matter how early and often random war propagandists try to conflate the two. I'm sure there's some looking glass definition of "cause and effect" to tie them together, though, in the spirit of the often evoked "facts and logic" rubric that W flacks pride themselves on.
