8/10/07 update
While I was noshing on strudel, cheese danishes, kosher hot dogs and assorted other delicacies in the Big Apple, the Bears and Bulls were devouring each other on Wall Street. Judging only by the minimal change in the Nasdaq Biotech Index since my last update their battle wound up a draw, with the NBI at Friday's close down -.36% YTD (vs. down -.58% YTD a week ago). The median for the Charity Contest portfolios fared a bit worse, closing down -11.47% YTD (vs. down -10.86%% YTD a week ago).
At week's end, 11 of the 31 Contest portfolios were in the black YTD with the same 11 of 31 beating the NBI.
RCMAC (now up 23.17% YTD) nosed out ICEBERG (now up 23.13% YTD) to take back the contest lead.
Below is the Top Ten list on 8/10/07:

8/10/07
Rank Name Total
1 RCMAC 23,171
2 ICEBERG 23,134
3 FRED 16,821

6 BIOFISH 13,010
7 TECHNET 12,601
