As his first potential crisis as Governor unfolds, Ben is still in tough love mode and has decided to keep the liquor cabinet locked over the weekend. No printy-printy for the partymakers that trashed the house last month, and the month before that, and also the month before that. Here's something that I learned about human perception from using the old Hay System of salary administration when I was still wearing dress shirts and ties and suit jackets to work in a downtown office many years ago. A 5% change or difference in something is "recognized by some", a 10% change is "recognized by many", while a 15% change is "recognized by all". So we lost a little bit less than 5% this past week -- no doubt then that "some people" will, and have, noticed. I think you get the picture of what I think it might take for Ben to abandon the tough love and open up that liquor cabinet
