You aren't taxed on those insurance premiums that are paid by the Government for you, are you?

No company insurance premiums are currently taxable to the employee. There have been suggestions that they be taxable but they aren't yet. Federal employees are treated the same as private-sector employees employees.

It would be VERY interesting to see what the Federal Insurance coverage rates are with a full premium....

It varies by health plan. The government pays 72%, overall. If you want details, look here.
