<<I plan to die with as little stuff as possible>>

The estate-planning attorney who set up my trusts has a favorite phrase which he claims came from one of his clients (altho I suspect it's an industry-wide joke):

"I hope the last check I write while I'm alive bounces."

I plan to die with as little stuff as possible, every year I try to have less stuff

same here....

i made a cross country move a couple of years ago, brought with me only the 'stuff' i thought i would really need, and of course, some of that stuff is still in boxes, not counting the stuff i left behind in boxes

one of my favorite quotes is from the movie fight club...

'things you end up owning end up owning you'

i think people don't really grasp how freeing it is to be relatively 'stuff free'

of course it is always better to edit and delete your stuff on your own, rather than having something tragic like a fire do it for you, as happened recently to many folks in tahoe
