Fortunately, from 2006 on you'll find yourself in a shrinking, southern regional minority. The (R)'s will be damn lucky to control ANY branch of government in '08. There are a number of things I'm not particularly pleased with, but republicans come closer to my perspective than democrats. And after many decades in place, that perspective is ruining this country, economically, politically, and socially. For a long time, most people didn't understand what was happening. We, the people, in many instances were ignorant of the deception. However, I believe now the deception is becoming more apparent to many Americans. If I am correct, then they will want a change from the status quo: the GOP prespective, your perspective.......a permanent change.
