So BOTH of Dan's arguments fail.

BTW, AMD has a prior history of bragging about "95% yields" only to have it turn out to mean line yield. Under Sanders, apparently.

Looks pretty clear to me. If 3/4 of the parts on production wafers coming out of the Dresden lines aren't working parts, the loan covenants are violated. Even if that were waived, AMD would have to file that covenant violation and waiver.

So there is no way that their yield is less than 75%. On any particular part it could be lower, but then it would have to be higher on other parts.
