Yes spouses are allowed There is a plane, called a 'rotator' leaving Baltimore every day with space headed to England and Germany I once completed a 3 week tour in Hawaii 20 years ago and was at George AFB in California waiting for refuel and read the big board and the rotator flew out of there to Hawaii, Midway, Okinawa, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and so on-- recall thinking I would take that plane one day George was closed but there is a rotator base in Cal somewhere
