There is no question in my mind that the Chinese will liberalize their politics in time -- see South Korea and Taiwan. And there is no question in my mind that creativity and inventiveness is not a US monopoly -- see Japan. The Internet makes it so much easier than the old days. Most of MIT's undergraduate curriculum is available free on the Internet.

The Atlantic China article you posted shows that Chinese capitalism is incredibly dynamic.
