I think long term demographics trends for Europe, the US and the World are the same. We all have to adjust to a long term future of stable or even slightly declining population.

The reason US population is currently increasing is immigration, much of it illegal. I am not at all sure this is a net positive for the US in the long term. BTW, Latin America fertility rates are rapidly falling with some countries already being at or even below replacement rates.
