Bush-Cheney's campaign ads and spin are the fiction, 100% fiction, not Oliver Stone's movies.

Stone pays great attention to historical fact, but of course he uses creative license, every film does. He doesn't make documentaries, he makes dramatic films, and often he hits the nail on the head. PLATOON was perhaps the greatest ever war film. It showed just how evil the rightwing is regarding war for war's sake, and how the real heros are more liberal humanists who ask "why"?

JFK was as accurate as one can get without actually knowing who pulled the trigger and organized the conspiracy. Stone is no BS artist. and unlike anyone leading the GOP he actually served his country in combat. So he has a right to express his views. I would also say those views are shared by a new majority of Americans. Of course the rightwing murdered the Kennedys. Nobody else had a motive, the opportunity and the means to cover it up.
