CLinton's 8 years were as good as it ever gets. Deal with it. It was Bush who disbanded Clinton's counter-terror teams and allowed 9-11 to happen. Bush did absolutely nothing to protect us when it counted. Maybe even deliberately. Clinton was at war with Al Qaida and stopped a major attack on New Years 1999 by being on the ball. Al Qaida did not really exist before 1996-97 so only the last three years of Clinton's second term are relevant to fighting Al Qaida.
