Edwards dramatics, like so-called channelling the dead, in front of naive juries drove family doctors away from rural areas. Greedy trial lawyers all over the country are pulling the same shameful stunt. As a result, many rural areas no longer have adequate medical facilities and must commute long distances for simple procedures. The vast majority of trial lawyers are Democrats, and the people in those rural areas have them to thank for their lack of medical services.
