Good point. OEM adoption will certainly help to raise sales. But as you say, pricing is another issue. As you know, AMD buys wafers from TSMC to manufacture GPUs, so they have no justification to lower pricing below cost to get these wins, like they do with their own CPUs in order to get the cost benefits of high fab utilization. If they bid low just to start a price war with nVidia to gain back marketshare, then the guys on Henri Richard's sales team are truly idiots. It will be interesting to watch next quarter's marketshare and volumes data to get a better sense of things.
