Prescott Bush owned one share of UBC...he was a director. The relationship with with Thyssen....who broke with Hitler in 1938 and ended up in German concentration camp. NONE of these facts are disputed. All trading by UBS was legal until six days after the US entered the war (after it had been attacked by JAPAN).
