But that is why you are "surprised" by the price drop, and why I am not.

?? Who is surprised? The VCLK price dropped because they unexpectedly missed Q2 guidance and lowered forward revenue and EPS expectations after having made guidance and at least raised forward expectations for two years in a row. It had little do with credit spreads, GOOG slowing its acquisition activity, hedge fund margin calls or any of the stuff you are writing about.

Here's the press release which happened yesterday morning.

Just thinking up some random event which is occurring in the market recently and saying "that's why VCLK's price dropped" doesn't make a lot of sense.
