If Clinton had managed the Iraq war EXACTLY as Bush had, the cries that Clinton is a traitor would be deafening.

Not from me. Now I think the war has been badly mishandled since the fall of Saigon to this year, but if Clinton had done the same I'd be complaining about the mismanagement, not calling him a traitor. FWIW I supported suppressing the ethnic cleansing in the Balkans and thought his bombing of Iraq was fully justified.

Back to the Hillary vs the Republican wives ... if Hillary hadn't gotten herself involved in political/governmental issues, she wouldn't have been such a target. Billing herself as co-President, a two-for-one deal during the 1992 campaign, steering Clinton's health proposals - she's asking to be a political target. No Republican candidates wives are doing anything like that.

if clinton had taken some aggressive action against Al Q. during his presidency perhaps we would never have gotten to this situation.
